What is the Toc Toc AI trend?

Toc Toc AI gives you the hallway dance everyone keeps trying at home. At the far end of a narrow, nearly empty apartment hallway, a phone rests on the floor, tilted slightly up. You march toward it, knees pumping high, until your knees and face loom into the lens, then hop backwards down the hallway and kick a foot out.

From there it’s pure silly bounce. You hop on one foot and rap twice on thin air, toc toc, then shrug with your palms up, turn side-on and strut in place, springing on each step. One leg kicks up behind you again and again on the beat, you hop back round and land a big arms-open ta-da with a proud grin. Every hop lands on the floor with a little bounce. It works with a pet too: your cat or dog dances on its hind legs, taps the air with a front paw to knock and opens both front legs wide for the finish, ears bouncing the whole time.

It’s one vertical take with no cuts, filmed from a phone that never moves. It doesn’t include the song, so pick the Toc Toc sound in the TikTok or Reels editor. Your clothes and shoes come from your photo, so wear something that moves when you hop.

Where Toc Toc AI started

The trend uses “Toc Toc”, a 2015 song by Patrick Sébastien. A TikTok creator paired it with a one-foot hop and knocks on an invisible door. The dance went viral in France in late September 2026, with the Gendarmerie posting its own version on September 24, then spread to Germany, Poland, Italy, the US and beyond, where the song was nicknamed “Kicékéla”.

Toc Toc AI questions

The short answers. Ask a person or visit the help center.

Can my pet do the Toc Toc dance?

Yes. Your cat or dog dances upright on its back legs, using its own paws, knocks on the air with a front paw and finishes with both front legs open wide.

Will my outfit and shoes show?

Yes. You keep the clothes and shoes, or bare feet, from your photo. The whole body is in frame for most of the dance, so a head-to-toe photo helps.

Is the hallway my own home?

No. It’s always the same narrow apartment hallway: off-white walls, a light wooden floor and a white door. Only the dancer comes from your photo.

Is Toc Toc AI free?

Not free, but you can try Reelfie first: every new account gets one photo trend free, no card needed. Toc Toc AI itself starts at $9.90 for a credit pack, with no watermark once you buy, and a run that fails costs nothing.

How much does Toc Toc AI cost?

100 credits in HD (720p), 50 in standard (480p). A pack from $9.90 makes 1 in HD or 3 in standard, and a plan from $16.58/mo, billed yearly, makes 4 in HD a month. The Make button shows the total before it runs, and a run that fails gives the credits back.

What app makes the Toc Toc AI video?

Reelfie (reelfie.app) makes it from one photo, with no prompt to write: the trend’s look is built in. It costs 100 credits, shown before it runs, and a run that fails costs nothing.

Is Reelfie the official Toc Toc AI app?

No. Toc Toc AI is a trend, and no app owns it. Reelfie (reelfie.app) is independent, not affiliated with TikTok, CapCut or the trend’s creators; it makes your own version from your photo.

Can I make Toc Toc AI with ChatGPT, Gemini or CapCut?

Partly. ChatGPT and Gemini can write a prompt, and AI video tools, CapCut’s included, can turn a photo into a clip from it, usually after a few tries and with a watermark on free tiers. They don’t know this trend’s scene or timing. Here both are built in, so one photo is all it takes.

How long does it take?

Most videos are ready in 3 to 5 minutes. You can close the page; the video keeps going and waits for you in Assets.

Can I make it with my cat or dog?

Yes. Choose Your pet and upload a photo where your pet’s face is clear and facing the camera.

Why does the face not look like me?

Usually the photo: side angle, low light or something covering the face. Try a clear front photo. If one doesn’t come out, you are not charged.

Can I post it on TikTok?

Yes. The video is vertical with the trend sound, and after your first purchase it has no watermark. Pick the trend’s sound when you post and your video also shows on that sound’s page.

Who can see my video?

Only you. It stays private in Assets until you create a share link.

What happens to my photos?

Your photos are deleted 7 days after upload and never used to train AI.

One selfie.
You in Toc Toc AI.
