Squish is an AI video effect that appeared in early October 2024, in which a pair of hands presses the subject of a photo flat like putty. Cosmetics and skincare brands used it in ads on Instagram and TikTok, and creators then applied it to their own photos, which turned it into the “Squish It” trend.
