Privacy policy

The short version

  • Your photos are deleted 7 days after upload and never used to train AI.
  • We don’t keep face data. No face measurements are saved on our servers.
  • Your videos stay in Assets until you delete them.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.
  • Download or delete everything from Account › Privacy & data.

01Who we are

Reelfie is responsible for your personal information on Reelfie. Questions: privacy@reelfie.app.

02What we collect

What: Account
DetailsYour email. If you sign in with Google or Apple: your name and profile picture from them.
What: Photos you upload
DetailsThe selfies and other photos you add to make something.
What: What you make
DetailsYour videos, images, prompts and settings.
What: Payments
DetailsWhich pack or plan you bought, the amount, renewal dates, your country, and your card’s brand and last 4 digits. Your full card number goes to our payment processor, not to us.
What: Device and usage
DetailsIP address, browser, approximate country, pages you visit and where you came from. Analytics only with your consent where the law requires it.
What: Messages
DetailsSupport messages, reports and anything you attach to them.

To make your result, the faces in your photo are analyzed while it renders. See the Biometric data policy.

03How we use it

  • To make what you ask for, and keep it in Assets.
  • To run your account, credits, payments and receipts.
  • To keep Reelfie safe: uploads and results go through safety checks for content that breaks our rules, and we stop fraud and abuse.
  • To email you: sign-in codes, receipts and render updates, plus tips and new trends, which you can turn off.
  • To fix bugs and improve Reelfie using usage statistics.

We never use your photos, face data or videos to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.

05Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted ads.

  • Service providers that help us run Reelfie: hosting and storage, AI generation, payments, email, customer support, and analytics (only with your consent where required). They may use it only to provide their service to us.
  • People you choose to share a video with.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone from serious harm, including reports of child sexual abuse material to NCMEC.
  • A buyer or successor, if Reelfie is sold or merged. This policy keeps applying to your information.

06Where it’s processed

We and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. When we move information from the EU, UK or Switzerland, we use the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

07Your choices

  • Download your data: Account › Privacy & data › Request export. We email you a download link.
  • Delete a photo now, or your whole account, in Account › Privacy & data.
  • Turn off tips and trend emails with one click in any of them.
  • Change cookie choices anytime with Cookie settings in the footer.

08Your rights in the EU and UK

You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Email privacy@reelfie.app; we reply within one month.

09Your rights in US states

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or Texas), you can ask to know, get a copy of, correct or delete your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing or profiling. We don’t sell or share it, and we use sensitive information, like face data, only to provide Reelfie. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights. You can use an authorized agent. If we say no, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and then contact your state attorney general. We reply within 45 days. Email privacy@reelfie.app.

10Children

Reelfie is only for people 18 and older. If we learn that someone under 18 has given us personal information, we delete it.

11Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, store photos privately, and limit access to the people who need it to run Reelfie.

12Changes

If we make a big change to this policy, we email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
