Affiliate terms

These terms are a contract between you and Reelfie (“Reelfie”, “we”, “us”) about the affiliate program. They add to our Terms of service, which still apply to your account. The program pays money for new customers. It is separate from Invite friends, which gives credits and needs no application.

• You must be 18 or older and have a Reelfie account in good standing.
• You apply from the affiliate page. We read every application ourselves and may decline one without giving more than a short reason.
• If you’re declined, you can apply again after 90 days.
• We pay through Stripe, so you must live somewhere Stripe can send payouts to, and give Stripe the details it asks for, including tax information.
• One affiliate account per person.

When you’re approved you get a code. Adding “?via=” and your code to any Reelfie link makes it your link.

You can change your code once. The old code keeps working for 60 days.

A click on your link is remembered in that browser for 60 days. If that person creates a new Reelfie account in that time, they become your referral. Accounts that already existed don’t count.

If the person clicks another affiliate’s link, or a friend’s invite link, before signing up, the latest link counts. One new account counts for one link only.

• You earn 20% of each plan payment, renewals included, and each credit pack your referral pays for in the 12 months after they sign up.
• Commission is worked out on the price they paid before tax, in US dollars, and never on more than the plan’s or pack’s list price.
• Free credits, credit codes and anything else not paid for by card don’t earn commission.
• Purchases made with the same card as yours, from the same device as yours, or that look automated are held for review and may not count.
• If a payment is disputed (a chargeback), its commission is cancelled. If it was already paid to you, it comes off your next payout. If the dispute is decided in our favor, the commission comes back.

• Each commission is held for 30 days after the purchase.
• On the 1st of each month we pay everything that’s ready, if it adds up to $50 or more. Less than that rolls over to the next month.
• Payouts go through Stripe to the bank account you set up there. Bank, identity and tax details are collected and kept by Stripe; you change them in Stripe’s payout settings.
• You’re responsible for the taxes on what you earn. Stripe sends tax forms where your country requires them.
• We don’t pay commission while your payouts aren’t set up, or while your account is paused. It stays in your balance.

These are the rules we pause accounts for. The number is how we refer to each one.

1. No search ads on our name. Don’t bid on “Reelfie”, its misspellings, or our domain in any search ads.
2. No coupon or deal sites. Don’t post your link on coupon, cashback, deal or reward sites.
3. Only people who said yes. Show results you made yourself, with your own face or with people who agreed. No celebrities, public figures, film or cartoon characters, and never anyone under 18. Our Content policy applies to everything you post.
4. No false promises. Don’t promise free or unlimited videos, discounts we don’t offer, or results we can’t guarantee.
5. No self-referral. Don’t sign up through your own link, or pay for accounts you control.
6. Say it’s a paid link. Mark every post with your link as an ad: #ad, “affiliate link” or your platform’s paid-partnership label, as your local rules require.

Also: don’t pretend to be Reelfie, don’t register names or accounts that include “Reelfie”, and don’t send spam.

If we think you broke a rule, we pause your account and email you the reason. While it’s paused, new sign-ups through your link don’t earn commission, and unpaid commission is held.

You can appeal by replying to that email within 14 days. If we find you broke the rules, we can cancel the commission earned through the break and close your affiliate account.

You can leave the program anytime by writing to us. We can end the program, or your part in it, with 30 days’ notice by email.

Commission earned under these terms before the end, and not cancelled, is paid on the usual schedule.

You may use the Reelfie name, logo and the trend templates’ example videos to promote Reelfie, as they appear on our site. Don’t change the logo or suggest we endorse you beyond the program.

Your photos are deleted 7 days after upload and never used to train AI.

We may change these terms or the numbers in them. We email you at least 30 days before a change that lowers what you earn. Commission already earned keeps the terms it was earned under.
